New Delhi: The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NICDC Logistics Data Services Limited (NLDS), marking a significant step toward strengthening a data-driven logistics ecosystem in India.
The partnership with NICDC Logistics Data Services aims to enhance logistics efficiency and enable more informed policymaking for the MSME sector.
NICDC Logistics Data Services, the digital and data arm of the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC), operates under the guidance and support of the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT).

Through this collaboration, NICDC Logistics Data Services will play a central role in advancing technology-enabled logistics reforms aligned with the Government of India’s broader industrial infrastructure strategy.
The MoU focuses on creating a robust digital framework to facilitate seamless data exchange between the Ministry of MSME and NICDC Logistics Data Services via API-based integration.
This integration will allow the Ministry to access real-time logistics data from NLDS, enabling better decision-making and improving supply chain efficiency across MSMEs.
By leveraging insights provided by NLDS, MSMEs are expected to benefit from improved operational efficiency, reduced logistics costs, and enhanced competitiveness in both domestic and global markets.
NICDC Logistics Data Services: Building Transparent and Efficient Logistics Ecosystem
The MoU was formally signed by Anuja Bapat, Deputy Director General, Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME), and Arvind Devaraj, Chief Operating Officer, NICDC Logistics Data Services, in the presence of senior officials from both the Ministry and NICDC Logistics Data Services.

Speaking on the occasion, officials emphasized that integrating digital logistics data through NLDS with MSME systems represents a key milestone in developing a resilient and technology-driven ecosystem.
The initiative aligns with the Government of India’s vision to improve ease of doing business while strengthening the country’s logistics infrastructure.
The Ministry of MSME reaffirmed its commitment to fostering innovation, improving efficiency, and supporting enterprises through strategic collaborations such as the one with NLDS, further accelerating digital transformation in the sector.
